13 game losing streak, Roasted. Laughing stock franchise, roasted. Half a century cup drought, roasted. Incompetent medical staff, roasted. Clown show management, roasted.

“Let's not play the Cup drought game again and make me show you, yet again, that every team, as it accumulates history, eventually has a very long Cup drought that lasts for multiple decades.

Want to criticize the team's last eight seasons? Sure. Go right ahead. Plenty of fodder. But don't take it back to 1975. Doing so is simple-minded, first-level thinking. It's ignorant of what actually goes into a Cup-winning run and just how narrow the margin really can between a first-round exit and a Cup championship.

When the late Jay Greenberg wrote this it was ostensibly about coaches but could also be applied to GMs, trainers, etc: "In the vast majority of cases, the coaches know what they are doing and are considered idiots on fan boards, social media and in the upper bowl by persons who have little clue." -- https://www.hockeybuzz.com/blog.php?post_id=95758

That's YOU, Pavel.

The sad part is that you actually DO know hockey and yet, rather than showing that knowledge of the game, you typically prefer to come off like a message board version of Angelo Cataldi; the king of first-level hot takes.”

I guess we’re not going to hear any comments about the other 4 points he brought up?

When will the coaching staff finally realize that the Sanheim/Risto pairing is just (frank)ing gross. Another 2-goals allowed last night. Deep underwater in scoring chances against, again.

They're a mess together.

Unpopular opinion. I’ve always wanted them to at least Risto and Provorov. Braun seems to be able to play with anyone and has seen time with Sanheim before. If not this, do we go back to the Sanheim, Provorov well?

Prov/Sanheim would be the way to go. There's a season's worth of evidence that it works. No idea why they insist on doing dumb poop like playing Braun near 20 mins per night...

York/Risto, Yandle/Risto, York/Braun whatever after that. Doesn't really matter. They just need to start with ONE reliable pairing right now to carry the mail, instead of three dysfunctional pairings.

Losing streak: He's already counting tonight as a loss. As for the 12 games, I have addressed it in great length.

Laughing stock franchise": That's an opinion, not a fact. Unlike Pavel, I actually know quite a few people who work in other franchises. The general reaction is disbelief at how things have gotten here. Not mockery.

"Incompetent medical staff": Typicall Pavel bloviating without actual knowledge. Does he know where thre Flyers rank over a multi-year period in terms of total man games lost? The answer, is right about the league norm over the last 5 years or so. There's always room for improvement.

"Clown Show management": The team has struggled in 3 of the last 4 season and there are many reasons for it.

It's just funny because he was the replacement in MIN after Yeo was canned.

Did not know that, too funny. What a mess and they have no clue how to proceed forward.

Where was he before coming here? Let me guess not coaching....

I don’t disagree with playing San next to Provy again, but they have done that recently with not great success.

I would prefer Risto with Prov just cause there was such a small sample size, maybe that might work..?

Kinda feel like San w Provy is more of the same.

Either way it’s a shyt show. Trying to find 4 serviceable dmen on this team is a nightmare. All things considered I would say Braun and York are only ones that have exceeded expectations.

Risto is as advertised, but with a smaller offensive role here than what was played in Buff.

San has had more than enough off to show he can be a top 4 dman in this league and right now it does not appear to be working.

Prov needs a big brother to play with him to be effective.

Yandle - well we know the deal there.

Somewhere between Risto, Sanheim and Provy there needs to be 2 changes maybe 3. York is back and plays 20 mins a night. Ya kinda have to figure out the rest.

I’d consider Risto for 11 mill over two years just cause no one hits anyone on tue back line in the entire org. But I’ll take a 1st rounder if anyone is buying. I’ll take 2 number 2s or we kick in some thing and get a 1st back for Sanheim and if I can get two decent 1s for Prov I do that too.

Especially since we are about to hear that a bunch of these guys will be sat down for the rest of the year tomorrow.

He's been everywhere. The Q, KHL, AHL, he's assistant coached for NHL teams, been interim NHL HC a few times.

He doesn't seem to have much longevity.

Moncton....there's all sorts of questions surrounding what did/didn't happen there. He had leaves of absence, then suddenly released, despite the club being atop the Q standings

Ristolainen is as advertised. Completely mediocre. You can get a 3rd pair D man to hit people. His hits as Tomahawk has repeatedly pointed out are often ineffective. In the game last night on one play, He skated hard to make a hit along the boards after the puck was gone, and then casually drifted back and a scoring chance against was created due to his lack of positioning. No reason to resign him. Sanheim is the better player. Unless blown away, I wouldn't trade Provorov.

I trust the Flyers to have done their diligence on this point. This seems a little character-assassination type thing to me to raise like this. My complaint is that I just don't think this will make a difference.
